Padilla advances to second day of Pete Willson Invitational

WHEATON, Ill. -- Concordia Wisconsin's Men's Wrestling program competed during the first day of the difficult two-day Pete Willson Invitational, hosted by Wheaton College, on Friday. Marco Padilla is the lone wrestler remaining for the Falcons after putting together a 2-1 record.

Padilla (sophomore, Elmwood Park, Ill.) earned a 19-1 technical fall victory over Anthony Eberle (Trine) and a 16-4 major decision against Camden Spears (Ohio Northern) to stay alive in the 125-pound bracket.

Freshman Quinn Hoopman (Cedar Grove, Wis.) picked up a win by fall in 1:56 at 149 pounds. Freshman Charles Hindley (Tucson, Ariz.) had a win by fall in 1:34 at 184 pounds.
