Brooke Gibson Named an NCHA Star of the Week

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) announced its Three Stars of the Week for Women's Hockey on Tuesday. Brooke Gibson was named as one of the stars of the week for her performance against Lawrence.

A junior forward from LaSalle, Ontario, Brooke Gibson is claiming her first NCHA weekly honor of the year and the first time in her career.

The captain opened the weekend with three assists in Friday's 6-3 victory over Lawrence.

The three assists are a career-high for the Canadian forward.

Gibson followed that up with a goal and an assist in the 4-3 victory at Lawrence.

Delaney Kingsland of Lawrence and Annie Gilbert of Adrian were named the other two stars from the NCHA.

Gibson and the Falcons return to action on Tuesday night in a non-conference showdown at Lake Forest.
