Falcons Finish Sixth at NACC Championships

WEST CHICAGO, Ill. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's golf team wrapped up the third and final round of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Golf Championships. The Falcons dropped two strokes from Sunday with a combined score of 386 on Monday. The Falcons finished in sixth place with 1168 strokes after rounds of 394, 388 and 386. The Spartans of Aurora defended their title with 931 strokes, 39 strokes ahead of Marian in second place.

Senior Elizabeth Montaba (Elkhart Lake, Wis.) led Concordia in 13th place at 248 strokes. She finished the tournament with a round of 80 and drained birdies at holes four and 13 on Monday.

Junior Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) finished in 22nd place at 268 strokes. She recorded a round of 89 strokes on Monday highlighted by a birdie at hole No. 15.

Senior Paige Zirbel (De Pere, Wis.) had the biggest improvement on Monday at 106 strokes after a round of 113 on Sunday. She finished the three-day tournament in 41st place with 327 strokes.

Freshman Kierra Hahn (Muscatine, Iowa) walked to the clubhouse with 111 strokes. The Iowa native finished in 40th place at 325 strokes

The Falcons will compete again in the spring of 2025.
