Jess Pozezinski Claims NFCA All-American Honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) released its NCAA Division III All-Americans on Tuesday. For the fourth consecutive season, a Falcon has claimed All-American honors. Jess Pozezinski was voted onto the NFCA All-American Second Team.

A junior shortstop from Lake Villa, Illinois, Jess Pozezinski is claiming her first All-American Team appearance.

"Being voted as an All-American is honestly surreal," said Pozezinski. "I never imagined that I would be a top player in the country. I've been surrounded by amazing coaches and teammates who have pushed me and have been role models, setting me on this path of success. I know that if I keep on doing what I'm doing and working hard, I can finish out my softball career in the best way, with the best people around me."

Pozezinski shined bright on the diamond in 2024 and led Concordia with a .480 batting average on the season and had 61 hits, 42 runs batted in to go along with her 15 home runs, 45 runs and 12 doubles. She had a five-hit performance against Wisconsin-La Crosse and four-hit performances against Alverno and Concordia Chicago.

Nationally, she ranks third in home runs per game at 0.41, fourth in home runs with 15, fifth in slugging percentage at 0.929, ninth in total bases with 118 and 25th in batting average at 0.480.

The Illinois native has collected many accolades this month, starting with Northern Athletic Collegiate Conference. She was voted as the NACC Position Player of the Year and also received First Team All-Conference honors. She was then announced as A First Team All-Region selection from the NFCA.

Jess Pozezinski is the third Falcon to claim NFCA All-American status. Gina Followell claimed honors in 2021, 2022 and 2023, with first-team honors in 2022 and 2023. Claudia Utz claimed third-team honors in 2022 and 2023.
