Softball Projected to Defend NACC Title

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) released its 2024 Softball Preseason Poll on Thursday afternoon. The Falcons are projected to finish in first place in the 2024 season and defend their title.

Concordia Wisconsin received 321 points and 18 first-place votes from the voting panel, which consists of the head coach and an athletics communications professional from each of the NACC's 13 softball institutions.

The Spartans of Aurora are projected to finish in second place with 281 points and one first-place vote, one point ahead of MSOE with 280 points and two first-place votes.

In fourth place is Dominican with 277 points and four first-place votes. Benedictine also collected one first-place vote and 251 points.

The Falcons have claimed four-straight NACC titles and the last two NACC Tournament titles.

The Blue and White are coming off a program record 40-5 campaign in 2023 with a 23-0 record in the NACC.

The Falcons open the season on Friday against Lawrence.

The NACC portion of the schedule begins on March 23 at Benedictine.
