Softball Secures Five CSC Academic All-District Selections
MEQUON, Wis. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2024 Academic All-District® Softball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The Concordia Wisconsin softball team landed a program record five selections in 2024. Senior Sydney Erdmann (Geneva, Ill.), senior Gabbi Gaziano (Beloit, Wis.), junior Megan Bloyer (Oregon, Wis.) junior Jasmine Freeze (Bolingbrook, Ill.) and junior Jess Pozezinski all received the honor.
Sydney Erdmann, Jess Pozezinski and Megan Bloyer all advanced to the Academic All-America Ballot.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 18, 2024.
