
Men's Tennis Secures ITA Academic Honors
MEQUON, Wis. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced the 2024 Division III Men's ITA Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic Teams on Wednesday.
In 2024, 1,079 Division III men's student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete and 129 men's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
The CUW men's tennis team claimed the ITA All-Academic Team honor for the seventh-straight season.
Concordia Wisconsin is the only school in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference to claim the honor.
Academia is an integral aspect of the college tennis experience and adds to the unique student-athlete experience found on college campuses across the nation.
Concordia Wisconsin landed five ITA Scholar Athletes in 2024.
Senior Joshua Klement (Muskego, Wis.) is claiming the honor for the fifth consecutive year.
For the fourth straight year, junior Isaac Bruins of Oak Creek, Wisconsin, is snagging the honor.
Junior Landon Sather (Fort Wayne, Ind.) is securing the title for the third time.
Sophomore Dylan Nadolski (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) is claiming the honor for the second time
Freshman Shaun Del Vecchio (Alpharetta, Ga.) is earning the honor for the first time.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements, have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form.
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must meet the following requirements, have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale), all student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and all varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
