
Men's Tennis Wallops Wisconsin Lutheran
JACKSON, Wis. – Saturday was a glorious start to Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) play for the Concordia Wisconsin men's tennis team. The Falcons opened the NACC portion of the schedule with an 8-1 victory over Wisconsin Lutheran. The victory sends CUW to 5-5.
The team of senior Joshua Klement (Muskego, Wis.) and junior Landon Sather (Fort Wayne, Ind.) cruised to an 8-2 victory at No. 1 doubles.
At No. 2 doubles, freshman Shaun Del Vecchio (Alpharetta, Ga.) and freshman Renan Revite (São Bernardo do campo, Brazil) wrangled the Warriors, 8-4.
Senior Isaac Bruins (Oak Creek, Wis.) and sophomore Dylan Nadolski (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) notched an 8-4 victory at No. 3 doubles.
Landon Sather swept away Aidan Newberg at No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-0.
Renan Revite ran over Asa White a at No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-4.
At No. 3 singles, Joshua Klement tore apart Zadic Torline, 6-3, 6-1.
Isaac Bruins beat up Connor Heezen at No. 6 singles, 6-2, 7-5.
Shaun Del Vecchio downed Bryce Halvorsen at No. 4 singles, 6-4, 6-3.
The Falcons return to action on Saturday, March 30 against the projected NACC champion Raiders of MSOE.
