Ozaukee Mini Mites skate at Men's Hockey game November 9

MEQUON, Wis. – The members of the Ozaukee Youth Hockey Association Mini Mites team skated at the Concordia University Wisconsin Men's Hockey game on Saturday, November 9 against the College of St. Scholastica.

The Mini Mites were on the ice before the game as they joined the Falcons during pregame introductions. The team then got to play during the first intermission, providing hockey fans on-ice entertainment between the first and second periods.

"Having the young kids out to skate at our hockey games is a great community building tool," Concordia Wisconsin Director of Athletics Dr. Rob Barnhill said. "The families come and enjoy great Division III hockey and the kids are treated to a crowd, a free T-Shirt and memories. The next Falcon may be one of these young players and it is important to engage them and their families and have them as CUW fans."

CUW is expected to have promotions like this with youth teams from the area throughout the season. The Falcons will play at the Ozaukee Ice Center for their next four games, starting with games this Friday and Saturday night at 7 p.m.
