NEWSWORTHY NOTES
- THEY'RE FEELIN' IT:
The Falcons are surely making a name for themselves as sharp shooters from downtown, with 65 triples in six games played this season. Moreso, 16 3-pointers were made during last Saturday's victory over Dominican and they finished shooting 69.6 percent, which was the second-best in a game in program history. Concordia Wisconsin is also ranked 16th nationally with a 42.8 3-point percentage and 19th with 10.8 triples made per game.

- BIG MEN DOING THEIR THING: While the guards are getting most of the attention thus far, Concordia Wisconsin's big men are performing extremely well around the bucket. The combination of Andrew Fratzke, Montrell Hobbs, Jared Gosse and Dane Fronek are shooting 51.3 percent and grabbing 5.13 rebounds.

- BENCH GIVING A BOOST: Every team needs a solid group of reserves to provide a spark when they are subbed in and the Falcons have just that. Their group of backups are averaging 27 points per game or 32 percent of the point production. Jared Gosse has the most points the reserves with 36.

- ON PACE TO SHATTER RECORDS: Many fans are beginning to wonder if the Falcons can keep us this torrid pace from downtown and if they can they will shatter the single season record for 3-pointers made. The current record was set just last season with 239 and they are on pace for 271 in the regular season.

- 11 IN A ROW: Concordia Wisconsin has won 11 in a row over Rockford dating back to December 1, 2009. During that stretch, the Falcons have outscored the Regents by an average of 9.5 points. In those victories, four have come BY five points or less.
