Kittel earns NACC Player of the Week honors
WAUKESHA, Wis. – Concordia Wisconsin's Eric Kittel was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday night.
Kittel (Brillion, Wis.) scored the game-winner Tuesday and averaged 21 points per game over a 2-0 week for the Falcons. On Tuesday against Marian, the senior guard netted 19, while dishing out five assists in a comeback win. With the game tied at 78-78 late, Kittel drove for the winning layup with four seconds remaining. He followed that with a 23-point, eight-assist and seven-rebound performance in a 97-76 win over Concordia Chicago on Saturday.
The weekly conference honor is the fifth of his career and the first of the season.
