Rackard III named NACC Defensive Player of the Week

MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- Concordia Wisconsin's Dwayne Rackard III was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced.

Rackard, a junior linebacker from Orlando, Florida, recovered two fumbles - one in the end zone for a touchdown - in Concordia Wisconsin's 31-0 win at Augsburg. He also finished with three total tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss in a dominating defensive effort for the Falcons.

The weekly honor is the first of his career.
