Football picked to finish fourth in NACC Preseason Poll

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Concordia Wisconsin's Football team was selected to finish fourth in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Preseason Poll, in a vote by the league's head coaches and athletic communicators.

The Falcons are coming off a 7-3 overall record from a year ago and a 5-2 in NACC play, which tied for second place.

Eureka was chosen to defend its NACC title with six first-place votes and 105 points, while Aurora was picked to finish second (105 total points, five first-place votes). Lakeland was third with 99 total points and four first-place votes and Concordia Wisconsin fourth with 88 points and one first-place vote.

Benedictine was fifth (74 points), Wisconsin Lutheran came in at sixth with 38 points, Concordia Chicago seventh with 37 points and Rockford rounded out the poll with 30 points.

The Falcons open their season at home on September 7 in a non-conference matchup against Finlandia at 1 pm at Tomasini Stadium. They begin NACC play on October 5 at 1 pm against Benedictine at home.

The NACC's champion earns the league's automatic bid to the NCAA III Championship.
