Fumbles hurt Falcons in road loss

PLYMOUTH, Wis. -- Concordia Wisconsin lost five fumbles during a 44-0 road NACC loss at Lakeland on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Concordia Wisconsin fumbled on five of its first six possessions and punted on the other over 15 minutes and 28 seconds of the game. Lakeland turned those miscues into a 27-0 advantage and never looked back.
- The Falcons ran for 127 yards and were led by quarterback James Linn (sophomore, Chino Hills, Calif.) who had 42 yards on the ground. Freshman Brandon Johnson (Hastings, Fla.) and junior Matt Montgomery (Hillsboro, Texas) added 39 and 33 yards, respectively, while freshman De'Shawn Ford (Gardena, Calif.) averaged 8.7 yards per carry on three attempts.
- Junior Connor Stoming (Germantown, Wis.) had a game-high 10 tackles and a fumble recovery, while junior Troy Stewart (Trevor, Wis.) had seven tackles, a sack and forced a fumble. Junior Brandon Hargis (Henderson, Nev.) intercepted a pair of passes.
- Concordia Wisconsin had eight tackles for loss.
- Charl'Tez Nunnery threw for 254 yards and two touchdowns, while Dezmon Eddie had 113 rushing yards and two scores.
