CUW 4, ROCKFORD 0
- Sophomore Molly O'Connell (New London, Wis.) was the story of the game as she threw a complete-game shutout in the circle and homered at the plate in leading CUW to the 4-0 win. It was the second straight shutout for O'Connell.

- The Falcons got all four in the second inning in the opener. With two runners on, Becky Bonnin (Kenosha, Wis.) hit a high fly ball to shallow right field. The ball landed in front of the Regents right fielder for a single and the fielder overran the ball, allowing Bonnin and two others to come across to score. The next batter was O'Connell who delivered a solo home run over the centerfield wall.

- O'Connell led the Falcons at the plate with two hits, homering and adding a double. Peters (Elk Grove, Ill.) and Jenna Pozezinski (Lake Villa, Ill.) each added two hits, one of Pozezinski's a double.

CUW 11, ROCKFORD 1 (F/5)
- The Falcons rolled in game two with big innings in the first, second, and third frames. CUW batted just four times and scored all 11 runs over its first three innings at bat.

- O'Connell and Peters each went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBI, pacing the Falcons from the top of the order. O'Connell doubled and tripled in the game, which also saw Sara Rosenow (Kimberly, Wis.) and Heather Renard (Wrightstown, Wis.) triple in the game. Kalli Roulette (Manitowoc, Wis.) went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBI.

- Nicole Lewis (Manhattan, Ill.) got the win in the circle, throwing the final four innings. Lewis came on with the bases loaded and nobody out in the top of the second with Rockford already having a run in. She got the first batter she faced to ground into a double play and struck the next one out, limiting the Regents to just one run in the frame.

- Lewis threw four innings and scattered three hits. She struck out three and did not allow a run in her sixth win of the year.
