Men's Tennis falls in final regular season match at UW-Oshkosh

OSHKOSH, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Men's Tennis team concluded its regular season with a 9-0 setback in non-conference action at UW-Oshkosh Friday afternoon.

The Titans began the day by rolling to three wins in doubles play, the closest of those being a No. 2 doubles matchup. In No. 2 doubles, the duo of freshmen Ryan Rogers (Iron River, Mich.) and Ceejay Schaffner (Winona, Minn.) fell by a count of 8-4.

Singles play wouldn't get any better for the Falcons as UW-Oshkosh picked up all six wins in straight sets. The Titans had little trouble in their six singles victories en route to the 9-0 win.

The Falcons will likely host a NACC Tournament matchup on Monday but this weekend's conference matches among other teams still has to determine that. The most likely scenario for CUW is a No. 3 seed, which means they would host a matchup Monday to try and advance to the NACC Semifinals set for next Saturday in Madison. More information on the Falcons next opponent will be available at CUWFalcons.com as it becomes available.
