CUW Runs Well at the NCAA North Regional
COLFAX, Wis. – The CUW women's cross country team finished the season on Saturday at the NCAA Division III North Regional Championships. The Falcons finished in 21st place with 525 points. Wisconsin – La Crosse won the competition with 50 points.
Senior LaNea Bartel (Kewaunee, Wis.) led the flock in 42nd place at 23:08.09.
In 69th place was senior Teagan Monfils (Green Bay, Wis.) at 23:46.10.
Sophomore Anessa Yim (Spokane, Wash.) crossed the finish line at 24:37.91 in 113th place.
Freshman Ella Stader (Oostburg, Wis.) secured a 132nd place finish at 24:57.62.
Junior Micah Hill (Camdenton, Mo.) finished in 174th place at 25:55.95.
Sophomore Abigail Van Rixel (Athens, Wis.) ran a time of 26:00.97 in 176th place.
Sophomore Holly Klomhaus (Poplar, Wis.) clocked in at 28:49.74 for a 216th-place finish.
The Falcons will return for the 2022 season in September.
