
CUW Trio Earn All-NACC Honors
MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW women's cross country team put together a strong performance at the NACC Cross Country Championships. The Falcons finished in fourth place as a team with 80 points. St. Norbert claimed the title with 48 points.
Senior LaNea Bartel (Kewaunee, Wis.) earned the silver medal with a time of 23:22.64.
Senior Teagan Monfils (Green Bay, Wis.) secured a seventh-place finish at 24:03.16.
Sophomore Anessa Yim (Spokane, Wash.) also earned All-NACC honors in 13th place with a personal-best time of 24:29.46.
In 24th place was freshman Ella Stader (Oostburg, Wis.) with a personal-best time of 25:30.45.
Junior Micah Hill (Camdenton, Mo.) crossed the finish line at 26:19.32 in 35th place.
Sophomore Abigail Van Rixel (Athens, Wis.) ran a time of 26:55.55 in 43rd place.
Sophomore Holly Klomhaus (Poplar, Wis.) wrapped up the meet in 62nd place with a personal-best time of 28:21.66.
In 76th place was freshman Lauren Pichler (Waukesha, Wis.) at 29:33.39.
Junior Kaitlynn Sabish (Campbellsport, Wis.) secured a time of 31:35.69 in 86th place.
The Falcons will run again at the NCAA Division III North Regional Championships on Nov. 13.
