Women's Soccer checks in at No. 10 in latest NSCAA Central Region rankings

KANSAS CITY – Following an impressive 2-0 week, which included a 5-1 rout of then No. 11 (national rankings) UW-Whitewater, the Concordia University Wisconsin Women's Soccer team is ranked 10th in the latest NSCAA Central Region poll, the organization announced Tuesday.

The Falcons own a 4-1-2 record through seven matches and have wins over UW-Whitewater and a nationally ranked NAIA school in Trinity International. CUW also has a tie against previously ranked Lake Forest.

CUW is one of two NACC schools to appear in the always difficult Central Regional rankings. Aurora is ranked two spots ahead of the Falcons at eighth.

CUW is next in action Wednesday with a trip to St. Norbert on the schedule. The Falcons will play their next three matches on the road, before returning home next Saturday, October 3 for a matchup against Aurora.
