Wrestling Picked Fourth in CCIW Coaches’ Poll
NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced its 2024-25 Men's Wrestling Coaches' Poll on Tuesday morning.
The Falcons are projected to finish in fourth place and collected 53 points.
North Central collected the highest possible total with nine first-place votes and 81 points.
Millikin had the other first-place vote and 72 points in second place.
In third place was Augustana with 57 points.
Following the Falcons was Aurora at 45 points, Elmhurst at 40 points, Wheaton at 33 points, MSOE at 31 points, Carthage at 27 points and Illinois Wesleyan at 12 points.
Last year, the Falcons placed third at the CCIW Championships with 110.5 points. CUW claimed the Most Valuable Wrestler Award and the First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year Award at the championships.
The CCIW season opens on Nov. 15 against Carthage and Wheaton.
