MOUNT VERNON, Iowa – The brackets for the NCAA Division III Wrestling Tournament have been released and Sean Ambrocio and Greg Sanders were ranked fifth and sixth, respectively, in their weight classes. The tournament begins on Friday, March 15 at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena.

Ambrocio (sophomore, San Antonio, Texas) drew the fifth seed in the 125-pound weight class and will face the winner of Daniel Page (Central College) versus Isaac Balsiger (UW-Lacrosse). Page enters with a 22-17 record with six pins, while Balsiger is 26-3 overall with three pins.

Ambrocio – who is ranked sixth nationally and is 33-5 overall with five pins – won the only meeting against Page earlier this season by decision, 3-2, at the MSOE Invitational (Dec. 1). He hasn't wrestled Balsiger this season, who is ranked ninth in the country (according to d3wrestle.com).

Sanders (sophomore, San Antonio, Texas) drew the sixth seed in the 149-pound weight division and matchup against Elroy Perkin (UW-Whitewater). Perkin brings a 36-11 overall record into the tournament, including seven wins by pin.

Sanders – who is ranked eighth in the nation and is 36-4 with 15 pins – won both meetings against Perkin earlier this season by decision, 6-0, at the CUW Open (Nov. 17) and by major decision, 13-5, at the North Central College Invitational (Dec. 8).
