Wrestling ranked in NWCA poll for first time this season

MANHEIM, Pa. – Concordia University Wisconsin broke into the latest National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III poll at No. 21, the organization announced.

The Falcons have performed well this season with an 8-6 record in dual matches under the direction of first-year head coach Corey VanGroll. CUW has had several individual wrestlers who placed or won titles at prestigious tournaments throughout the season.

Sophomores Sean Ambrocio (San Antonio, Texas) and Greg Sanders (San Antonio, Texas) will represent the Falcons at the NCAA Division III National Tournament on Friday and Saturday, Mar. 15-16, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
