Rink Notes: Women's Hockey welcomes Bethel to the Ozaukee Ice Center

MEQUON, Wis. – After a month away from game action, the Concordia University Wisconsin Women's Hockey team is set to return to the ice this weekend with a pair of home contests. The Falcons will host Bethel in non-conference play Friday and Saturday afternoon.

THE BASICS
- Who: Bethel (3-7-1) at Concordia Wisconsin (7-4-1)
- When: Friday, January 5 – 4:30 p.m. / Saturday, January 6 – 3 p.m.
- Where: Ozaukee Ice Center – Mequon, Wisconsin

DIGITAL GAME PROGRAM
- A digital game program for this weekend's game can be found here. A limited number of front-and-back programs will be available at the rink for $2. Fans can also access the digital game program at the rink by visiting cuwfalcons.com/program on their mobile devices.

RINK NOTES
- The Falcons will play their first two games of 2018 with a home non-conference series against Bethel. CUW had a strong first half of the season, posting a 7-4-1 mark through the first 12 games.

- CUW enters the weekend with three straight shutouts. The Falcons started the three-game stretch with a 1-0 win over Morrisville State, before shutting Northland out in both games of an NCHA series December 1-2. The final game against Northland was a scoreless tie.

- The home team has never won a game in the all-time series between the Falcons and Royals. CUW is 2-0-1 at Bethel, while also winning a neutral site game in 2011. The Royals are 4-0 all-time at the Ozaukee Ice Center, including two wins two seasons ago. The Falcons swept Bethel last season in a road series.

- Bethel has dropped three in a row entering this weekend. The Royals are 2-0 this year against NCHA opponents, sweeping Aurora on the opening weekend of the season.
