MEQUON, Wis. – It was all Lake Forest in the Concordia University Wisconsin Women's Hockey 2017-18 home opener as the Foresters defeated the Falcons, 8-0, Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Foresters scored twice in the first period and added three goals in both the second and third frames for the 8-0 final. Amy Budde, who scored both first period goals, finished the game with a hat trick for Lake Forest.
- Christina Pattengale (Portage, Mich.) made 47 saves for the Falcons Friday night. CUW tallied 16 shots, all stopped by the Foresters Jacque Rogers.
- Four of the eight goals by Lake Forest came on the power play. The Foresters finished 4-for-7 with the advantage, while CUW was 0-for-3.
