Holman named to D3Hockey.com Team of the Week

Lexi Holman, the Concordia University Wisconsin Women's Hockey career goals leader, has been named to the D3Hockey.com Team of the Week, the website announced Tuesday afternoon.

Holman (Sauk Rapids, Minn.) became the Falcons new career goals leader with a two-goal effort against Finlandia Saturday. She set the new mark with her 37th career score with a power play tally in the second period of a 4-2 win. Holman would add her 38th goal on an empty-net score in the final minute of the two-goal win. She added an assist for a three-point effort.

Holman joins goalie Justine Silva (Buffalo State), blueliners Taral Clayton (Augsburg) and Kassandra Petersen (Chatham), and forwards Krista Federow (William Smith) and Rachel Lenard (Buffalo State) on this week's team. Her honor marks the second time a Falcon has received D3Hockey.com Team of the Week honors this season, joining Christina Pattengale (November 15).

Holman and the Falcons will visit No. 4 Adrian this weekend for two NCHA games.
