Men’s Lacrosse hosts Carthage on Thursday
MEQUON, Wis. -Concordia University Wisconsin returns home for a
Midwest Lacrosse Conference matchup against rival Carthage College
on Thursday at 4 p.m. at Fitting Field.

During the five games
sophomore Sam Wladyka (Winnipeg, Manitoba) and freshman Derek
Brueske (Hopkins, Minn.) have led the Falcons offense with 15 and
13 goals, respectively. In addition, sophomore Justin Krause
(Hartland, Wis.) has assisted on 10 goals during the stretch.
CUW (6-5, 4-3 MLC) has split its
last four games, and won its last contest at Fontbonne University,
12-10. Brueske scored a career-high five goals on 15 shots, to go
along with two assists. Wladyka added four goals, while sophomore
Danny Dahms (Calgary, Alberta) assisted on three tallies.
CC (7-4, 3-3 MLC) dropped
its last two games, including a 7-6 overtime thrilled at Aurora
University a week ago. The Red Men won its three prior contests
before its current skid.
Keegan Bowman leads CC and the
MLC with 35 goals, while Seth Molek has assisted on a team-best 17
goals. The Red Men have outscored their opponents by 46 goals this
season and have outshot them 490-299 (291-183 on
goal).
