Men’s Lacrosse looks to continue winning streak, travels to Trine on Saturday

Game Notes: at Trine University

MEQUON, Wis. - Following a week off from competition Concordia University Wisconsin returns to the field on Saturday for a 12 p.m. (CST) men's lacrosse matchup at Trine University. The Falcons look to push their winning streak to five games at Fred Zollner Athletic Stadium against the Thunder.

Fans unable to attend the game can follow the action with live statistics.

Freshman Derek Brueske (Hopkins, Minn.) led CUW with four goals during its 14-13 victory last Saturday over Albion College. The Falcons (4-3, 2-1 MLC) led 14-11 with 13 minutes and five seconds remaining in the fourth quarter and held on for their fourth-straight victory.

Sophomore Danny Dahms (Calgary, Alberta) has been CUW's go-to offensive player as of late scoring 14 goals during the winning streak. The midfielder leads the team with 17 goals and 22 points. Sophomore Sam Wladyka (Winnipeg, Manitoba) leads all Falcons with 10 assists.

In between the pipes, sophomore Zack Davis (La Porte, Ind.) leads all goalkeepers with 50 saves and a .521 save percentage.

TU (3-2, 0-0 MLC) will play its first conference game on Saturday and will look to avenge a 9-4 loss to CUW last season. Recently, the Thunder defeated La Roche College, 15-5, on March 23 for their second-consecutive win.

Dalton Madsen leads the team with 24 points, while Blaine Stahley has found the back of the net on 10 occasions. Madsen leads all TU players with 11 assists.
