Boyer named to SAA All-Tournament Team

MEMPHIS – After a 14-save performance in the SAA Field Hockey Tournament opening round, Kennedy Boyer was named to the All-Tournament Team, the league announced Sunday following the conclusion of the tournament.

Boyer (Saline, Mich.) made 14 saves and kept the Falcons in their match against Sewanee, which ended in a 3-1 defeat. She made nine of those saves in the opening half, keeping the Falcons within one until the break.

Centre won the SAA Tournament and had the Tournament MVP in Brooklyn Bell. The Colonels had four players on the All-Tournament Team, while runner-up and tournament host Rhodes had three.
