Field Hockey gets back in win column, downs Lindenwood Belleville 2-1
BELLEVILLE, Ill. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Field Hockey team snapped its five-game skid Saturday with a road win at Lindenwood Belleville. After being tied at halftime, the Falcons received the game-winner from Callie Neumann to down the Lynx, 2-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Neumann (Dousman, Wis.) picked a good time for her first career collegiate goal, scoring with 12 minutes left to play. Sam Dunn (Sussex, Wis.) assisted on the game-winning score.
- The Falcons first goal came in the 17th minute, just under two minutes after the Lynx took a 1-0 lead. Ciara Bond (Maplewood, Minn.) scored her third goal of the year, this one assisted by Rachel Larson (Fenton, Mo.).
- The Lynx only goal came in the 15th minute off the stick of Janne Madelie.
- Kennedy Boyer (Saline, Mich.) picked up the win for the Falcons, finishing the game with three saves. All three of her saves came in the second half.
- The Falcons finished with an 18-6 edge in shots. CUW tallied nine shots in each half and 13 of its total shots went on goal.
UP NEXT
- The Falcons will play two matches at Sewanee next weekend, the first of those against Sewanee. CUW will take on Sewanee on Saturday at noon, before battling Transylvania in a neutral site contest on Sunday morning. Both games are conference matchups.
