MEQUON, Wis. – The Falcons swept the Stars and the Sabres on Friday in the NACC Tournament as Concordia Wisconsin earned an 8-3 win over Dominican and a 4-2 win over Marian.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Tyler Haffey (Mount Prospect, Ill.) finished the game with the Stars a double short of a cycle, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and three runs scored.
-Haffey started the scoring with a two-run shot to left field in the second inning.
-In the fourth, Eric Paz (Kenosha, Wis.) doubled down the right field line to drive in another run.
-The Falcons drove in three runs in the seventh. Johannes Haakenson (Janesville, Wis.) drove in the first on a single to left. Haffey then tripled to center to drive in another. Austen Dart (Algoma, Wis.) then drove in a run on a sac fly to right.
-In the ninth, Jared Chesak (West Bend, Wis.) drove in a final run on a single to left.
-Matthew Olig (Plymouth, Wis.) got the win after pitching 6.2 innings, allowing only two earned runs while striking out five.
-After defeating the No. 3 seeded Stars, the Falcons had to face No. 5 Marian for the second time in the tournament right afterward.
-In that game, Haffey continued his remarkable day with a three-run home run in the fifth inning to give the Falcons a definitive lead.
-Paz drove in the other run for the Falcons in the win on an RBI double in the fourth.
-Peter Scott (Dayton, Nev.) got the win and Beau Wills (Coal City, Ill.) earned his eighth save of the season.
