ACHA Hockey announces 2019-20 Team Awards

MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin ACHA Hockey team announced their 2019-20 Team Awards on Monday.

Jonathan Grodzki (Tampa Bay, Fla.) was named both Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year. The senior forward and team captain led the Falcons with 22 goals and 39 assists for 61 points. Grodzki had three power-play goals and two shorthanded goals.

Mack Willy (Tacoma, Wash.) was named Rookie of the Year. The freshman goalie led the Falcons in net with a 16-3-1 record with 669 saves for a .930 save percentage and a 2.37 goals-against average.

Logan Hascarl (Nakusp, B.C.) was named Defensive Player of the Year. The freshman defenseman was a core part of the Falcons defensive effort while scoring 13 goals and notching eight assists. Hascarl had three power-play goals and two game-winning goals.

Connor Doyle (Naples, Fla.) was named Most Improved Player. The freshman forward scored six goals, one of which was a game-winner, and had four assists.
