ACHA Hockey scores 10 in rout of Wildcats

MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin Falcons dominated in a 10-0 shutout victory over the Northern Michigan Wildcats on Saturday in the Ozaukee Ice Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Scott Gregor (Ashland, Wis.) started the Falcon avalanche of scoring with a goal five minutes into the opening period.
- 37 seconds later Connor Doyle (Naples, Fla.) doubled the Falcon lead with another CUW goal.
- The Falcons scored four times in the second frame, starting with Wyatt Wilderman (Waukesha, Wis.) 10:36 into the period.
- Captain Jonathan Grodzki (Tampa Bay, Fla.) followed five minutes later to put CUW up 4-0.
- In the 17^th minute, Logan Hascarl (Naksup, B.C.) scored the fifth goal of the day for the Falcons.
- Trenton Sherman (Farmington, Minn.) closed out the second-period scoring by scoring with 17 seconds remaining in the frame.
- Up 6-0, the Falcons continued the onslaught in the third with four more goals, starting with Wilderman's second of the night 23 seconds into the frame.
- Sean Doyle (Naples, Fla.) scored the eighth goal for CUW 5:33 into the final period.
- Matt Gregor (Ashland, Wis.) followed in the 16^th minute with the ninth Falcon goal, and Connor Doyle scored his second of the night in the 18^th minute to conclude the Falcons attack.
- Brian Johnson (Plainfield, Ill.) had 27 saves in the shutout win.
