ACHA Hockey wins road opener over West Virginia
MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – The Concordia Wisconsin Falcons remained undefeated on the season while winning their road opener over the West Virginia Mountaineers on Friday night by a 6-2 final.

- Records: Concordia Wisconsin 6-0-1, West Virginia 2-3-1
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Trenton Sherman (Farmington, Minn.) powered the Falcons offensive effort with a hat trick. With CUW up 1-0, the freshman scored thrice consecutively. Sherman scored in the 14th and 17th minutes of the first period before completing his trick in the sixth minute of the second frame.
- Gabriel D'Asto scored the opening goal for the Falcons just shy of four minutes into the game.
- Concordia Wisconsin added two more goals in the third period. Alec Murano (St. Peters, Mo.) scored in the 13th minute with Jonathan Grodzki (Tampa Bay, Fla.) following with a final goal in the 17th minute of the final frame.
- Mack Willy (Tacoma, Wash.) had 21 saves in goal for the Falcons.
