HOW IT HAPPENED
- Cody Faber (Wilmot, Wis.) led the Falcon attack on the day with four goals. The junior scored first scored in the 6th minute of the second period to put the Falcons up 3-0. The sophomore still had more to give, as in the second minute of the third period he found the net yet again for his fourth goal of the day to push the CUW lead to 6-1.
- Faber wasn't the only Falcon with a multi-goal day. Scott Gregor (Ashland, Wis.) scored the first goal of the game for the second time in the series in the 18th minute of the opening period. The freshman ended up scoring the final goal of the game as well in the 16th minute of the third.
