ACHA Hockey nets five to sweep UW-Oshkosh on Pink the Rink day

MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin Falcons completed a series sweep of the UW-Oshkosh Titans on Saturday with a 5-1 final to cap off Pink the Rink day with a win.

THE BASICS
- Final Score: Concordia Wisconsin 5, UW-Oshkosh 1
- Records: Concordia Wisconsin 17-4-1, UW-Oshkosh 5-14-0

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Trenton Sherman (Farmington, Minn.) led the Falcons with a pair of goals on the day, including the game-winner.
- The Falcons struck first 10 minutes into the game as Cody Faber (Wilmot, Wis.) scored to put CUW up 1-0.
- UW-Oshkosh evened the score at 1-1 as the Titans scored in the 17^th minute of the opening frame. That goal would be the first and last of the game for the Titans as Brian Johnson (Plainfield, Ill.) saved every other shot on goal, ending the contest with 38 total.
- Sherman scored the game-winner and his first of the day seven minutes into the second period to put CUW up 2-1.
- Wyatt Wilderman (Waukesha, Wis.) followed in the 15^th minute to double the Falcon lead.
- The Falcons scored twice in the third period to close out the game. Captain Jonathan Grodzki (Tampa Bay, Fla.) scored in the 10^th minute and Sherman scored his second of the day in the 18^th minute.
