MEQUON, Wis. - Locked in a tight race for a spot in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association playoffs, the Concordia University Wisconsin women's hockey team will host conference rival University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire for two games this weekend at the Ozaukee Ice Center.

The Falcons and Blugolds will drop the puck at 7 p.m. on Friday night, before meeting again at 2 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. Friday's game will feature Live Video/Play-by-Play, while Saturday's match-up will include Live Stats.

CUW (7-8-1, 5-6-0 NCHA) is coming off a couple of losses at the hands of UW-Superior last weekend, and will be looking to bounce back quickly with only nine games remaining on its regular season schedule.

The Falcons are led by senior forwards Hilary Christiansen (Eagan, Minn.) and Alyssa Isaackson (Marshall, Minn.), who have totaled a combined 11 goals and 26 points.

Eau Claire (5-11-3, 4-8-2 NCHA) went 0-1-1 in two games against UW-River Falls a week ago, but are 3-2-1 in the month of January so far.

The Blugolds' leading scorer is sophomore forward Nikki Kothenbeutel, who has scored five goals to go with seven assists.
