Isaackson named NCHA Player of the Week
MEQUON, Wis. - CUW senior forward Alyssa Isaackson (Marshall, Minn.) was named Player of the Week by the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association after she registered three goals and two assists in three games last week.
Isaackson, who is tied for the team lead in goals with four, found the net twice in Friday's 5-1 win over Finlandia University, including the game winner.
Against Finlandia again on Saturday, she scored the game's only goal midway through the second period en route to a 1-0 victory at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee.
Alyssa also contributed two assists in a 4-3 loss to Lake Forest College last Tuesday, and is second on the team in points with six.
Through six games, the Falcons are 4-2-0 to start the season, and will hit the road to take on Marian University on Wednesday.
Wednesday's game will take place in Fond du Lac, Wis., and is scheduled for 7 p.m.
