NEWSWORTHY NOTES
- HOME SWEET HOME:
Winning at home is important and Concordia Wisconsin has rarely let an opponent into its house and dampened the mood. The Falcons own a 118-37 (76.2 percent) record inside the R. John Buuck Field House during head coach Stacey Brunner-Jones tenure. More so, they have a 98-19 (83.8 percent) record during home conference games during the last 12-plus seasons.
- LEADING THE NACC: The Falcons currently sit atop the NACC standings with a 16-2 record with two games to play. They have a one-game lead on Benedictine and are two wins ahead of Lakeland and Wisconsin Lutheran. Concordia Wisconsin must win out to ensure the No. 1 overall second because a tie with Benedictine won't favor well because of the two losses to the Eagles this season.
- DROPPING DIMES: It is no secret the Falcons are efficient on offense, averaging 14.9 assists per game which is on pace to set the program's single-season record. They have dished out 15+ assists in 15 games this season and have an impressive 18-0 record when accumulating more assists than the opposition.
- NO FLY ZONE: Concordia Wisconsin has owned the series as of late against Edgewood, winning the last 12 games. During that stretch they have won by an average of 12.4 points.
- BARKER CATCHING FIRE: Baylee Barker is a go-to threat from downtown and has drained six 3-pointers over the last two games. The sophomore has a team-high 30 long ball makes and has drained multiple triples in six games. At one point this season had a stretch of 10-straight games with a 3-pointer.
