Women's Tennis blanked by Lawrence

JACKSON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin women's tennis team was blanked 9-0 by Lawrence University Sunday in a non-conference match at Pleasant Valley Tennis Court.

The Falcons dropped all six singles matches with senior Callie Reinke (West Allis, Wis.) playing the closest of singles matches. Reinke dropped her match at No. 3 singles in a third set tiebreaker, falling 6-7 (0-7), 6-1, 1-0 (10-6).

CUW was also unable to net a victory in doubles play as Lawrence took all three matches en route to the 9-0 victory.

CUW (10-8) returns to action next Saturday when they host a pair of non-conference dual matches. The Falcons will play Monmouth College at 10 a.m. and then take on the University of Dubuque at 2 p.m.
