Men’s Tennis drops road match at North Central

AURORA, Ill. – Logan Snyder won both his singles and doubles match for the Falcons, but Concordia Wisconsin fell 7-2 to North Central on Friday night.

THE BASICS
-Final Score: North Central 7, Concordia Wisconsin 2
-Order of Finish: Doubles (3,1,2), Singles (1,5,6,4,2,3)
-Records: North Central 8-1, Concordia Wisconsin 3-3 

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Cardinals took the No. 3 doubles match to get the first point.
-The Falcons answered with an 8-7 (7-3) win at the No. 1 match. Snyder (Franklin, Ind.) and Christian Docter (Madison, Wis.) comprised the winning No. 1 duo.
-North Central won the next six matches, starting with the No. 2 doubles. In singles, they won the No. 1, No. 5, No. 6, No. 4, and No. 2 matches in that order. Lucas Pindak had the match-deciding fifth point with his win at No. 6 singles.
-At the No. 3 singles match, the Falcons stole a second point. Snyder dropped the first set 6-4 to Justin Howes, but then battled back to take the second 6-2. In the match tiebreaker, Snyder was victorious 10-6.

-The Falcons return home to face UW-La Crosse at 3pm and St. Norbert at 6pm on Saturday, March 2.
