Men's Tennis gets conference wins over MSOE, Marian

MEQUON, Wis. – The Falcons took down the Raiders and Sabres emphatically, winning 17 of 18 matches as Concordia Wisconsin defeated MSOE 8-1 and then Marian 9-0 in a pair of conference matches on Saturday.

THE BASICS

-Records: CUW 13-7 (6-1 NACC), MSOE 8-9 (5-2 NACC), MU 3-7 (3-4 NACC)

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Falcons swept doubles against MSOE, winning all three matches in gutsy 8-7 battles to the wire.
-In singles, Logan Snyder (Franklin, Ind.) and Peter Kloda (Morton Grove, Ill.) each won three-set matches at No. 3 and No. 4 singles respectively.
-Tim Peters (Slinger, Wis.) won the match-deciding fifth point with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 6 singles.
-Nolan Rademacher (Monument, Colo.) won his No. 1 singles match 7-6, 6-0.
-At No. 5 singles, Gabe Binversie (Plymouth, Wis.) each won 6-4, 6-1.
-The Raider's David Chon was responsible for the lone Falcon defeat on the day with a three-set 4-6, 7-5, 10-5 marathon win at No. 2 singles.
-In the second match with Marian, the Falcons won every match.
-The doubles matches with the Sabres went the Falcons way as they outscored Marian 24-2 in games.
-Christian Docter (Madison, Wis.) won his No. 1 singles match 6-1, 6-1.
-Once again, the No. 6 singles match won the deciding fifth point of the match as Nathan Raskin (Shorewood, Wis.) swept 6-0, 6-0.
-Kloda won a 6-2, 4-6, 11-9 marathon at No. 3 singles.
