Falcon soccer men advance

Victor Mendoza was the man of the hour as he scored both Falcon
goals in a NAC quarterfinal 2-1 win over Marian Sunday.
The match was delayed more than two hours because the referee crew
did not show up, but Concordia still had plenty of energy at game
time, outshooting the visitors 19-10.
Mendoza's first score came off a Kyle Sytsma assist at 15:55 of the
first half and his second (courtesy of a Jason Rogers pass at
64:20) provided the difference after the Sabres got a late
goal.
CUW (12-5-3) will now battle #1 seed Dominican in a NAC semi-final
at 1pm on Tuesday in River Forest, Illinois. Those two sides tied
0-0 in a match earlier this season.
