Falcon Men’s Soccer falls to MSOE 2-1
Mequon
A Senior Day crowd left disappointed as CUW dropped a 2-1 decision
to MSOE this afternoon. The Falcons had the better of possession
and opportunities throughout, but could not take advantage.
Dan Hosko got the visitors on the board just 12 minutes into the
contest after pushing down a Concordia defender, but Tom Saleska's
team came back with an equalizer by Kyle Sytsma three minutes
later.
The score remained 1-1 for the next 57 minutes as CUW shot wide or
over the top on several great chances.
Then Danny Koslowski ruined the day for the home forces by
collecting a perfect pass and firing a one touch bullet past Sam
Ische for the winning score.
Concordia had twice as many shots and three times as many corner
kick opportunities but went down to a 2-1 defeat for the second
time in 3 days.
The Falcons are now 5-2-2 in the NAC while the Raiders improved to
7-2-0 in league play.
