Titans nip Falcons

Oshkosh

UW- Oshkosh 2 Concordia 1

The host Titans got the game-winner on a penalty kick after a handball was called in the penalty box late in the second half of Monday evening's match, dropping CUW to 4-2-2 on the season and ending Concordia's 4 match win streak.

UW-O, undefeated on the season at 6-0-1, got a goal from Fedja Korjenic just twenty minutes into the mach and held that lead until CUW's Trevor Hess tied the game early in the second half off a Zach Lemler assist.

"They are really good," said Falcon coach Tom Saleska. "I thought we played well and pretty even under the circumstances against a very skilled passing team. They actually returned starters from last season who don't see the field anymore… just a talented group...and we stayed with them for the most part." The Falcons host North central on Thursday at 4:30pm.
