Men's Golf finishes 8th at NACC Championship

AURORA, Ill. – Concordia Wisconsin concluded the Northern Athletic Collegiate Conference Men's Golf Championship on Monday afternoon with an eighth place finish at Stonebridge Country Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons performed well during Sunday's third round with a 320 team total, but encountered difficulties in Monday's final round, as did every other team, with a 431 team score. Overall, CUW's four-round total of 1,332 (340-331-320-341) was good for eighth place.
- Senior Jason Meyer (Dunlap, Ill.) and junior Bill Jones (New Holstein, Wis.) were the only Falcons to complete all four rounds of the tournament.
- Meyer ended in 31st position with a 344 total (92-87-81-84). His best round on Sunday of a 9-over-par 81 included five birdies. He also sank three birdie putts in the fourth round and had 10 total for the NACC Championship.
- Jones recorded a 34th place finish after signing for a 347 total (90-83-84-90). He drained three birdie putts on Sunday and two on Monday, while also making a combined 12 par putts in the second half of the tournament.
- Freshman Jacob Tenlen (Montreal, Wis.) carded rounds of 77 and 86, which included six birdies on Sunday (three-straight to end his round) and two on Monday. His 77 is one of three rounds in the 70s for the Falcons.
- Senior Elijah Glasenapp (Milwaukee, Wis.) had rounds of 78 and 86 on Sunday and Monday, respectively. The righty made seven birdie putts on Sunday and o more on Monday.
- Sophomore Kyle Rebholz (West Bend, Wis.) competed on Sunday and fired a 90, while junior Josh Denk (Markesan, Wis.) signed for an 85 during Monday's round.
