Falcons Post Best Round at McNaughton Invite

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's golf team wrapped up a busy stretch of action at the McNaughton Memorial Invite on Monday. The Falcons finished with a combined round of 329 strokes to finish in fifth place as a team. The host Blueboys of Illinois College won at 291 strokes.

Senior Trenton Sherman (Farmington, Minn.) led the flock in 14^th place at 81 strokes.

In 20^th place were sophomore Trevor Wotring (Johnsburg, Ill.) and junior Tyler Yaun (Rockton, Ill.) at 82 strokes.

One stroke behind was junior Andrew Elmhorst (Manawa, Wis.) in 25^th place at 83 strokes.

Freshman Kean O'Neil (Elkhart Lake, Wis.) and junior Nico Murgas-Bennett (Hartford, Wis.) finished in 27^th place at 84 strokes.

The round is tied for the lowest round of the year for CUW.

The Falcons return to play on Friday at the Forester Spring Invite.
