Rebholz shoots career round to tie for 1st at Carthage Spring Invitational

KENOSHA, Wis. – Kyle Rebholz had a career round on Tuesday afternoon shooting a 1-over-par 71 to tie for medalist honors, while Concordia Wisconsin tied for eighth as a team at the Carthage Spring Invitational at Kenosha Country Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Rebholz's (sophomore, West Bend, Wis.) career round of 71 was one shot shy of tying the program record. It was also his fourth round in the 70s this season and the best finish of his career.
- The Falcons tied for eighth place after carding a 319 team score. Carthage, the host of the tournament, won the team trophy with a 298 team score.
- Freshman Jacob Tenlen (Montreal, Wis.) fired a 7-over-par 77 to tie for 18th place and it was second rounds in the 70s over the last three tournaments.
- Senior Elijah Glasenapp (Milwaukee, Wis.) signed for an 84 to tie for 55th place, while junior Bill Jones (New Holstein, Wis.) had an 87 and tied for 70th position. Freshman Harrison Dixon (West Bend, Wis.) rounded out the lineup with a 93.
- CUW's 319 team score was its best round this spring.
- Rebholz tied with Matt Meneghetti (Carthage).

NEXT ON THE SCHEDULE
- The Falcons will conclude the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship with the third and fourth rounds to be played on Sunday and Monday at Stonebridge Country Club in Aurora, Ill. CUW is currently eighth place out of 10 teams.
