Men's Golf competes at Wisconsin Lutheran Invitational

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Bill Jones shot an 80 to lead one of Concordia Wisconsin's team, while Dixon Harrison fired a 78 to pace another team at the Wisconsin Lutheran Invitational at Morningstar Golfer's Club on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons sent a pair of teams to the tournament and junior Bill Jones (New Holstein, Wis.) fired an 80 to lead one unit, while freshman Dixon Harrison (West Bend, Wis.) had a 78 to lead the second group.
- CUW's first team shot a 334 to finish in 11th position and the second group had a 338 to take 13th place.
- Sophomore Kyle Rebholz (West Bend, Wis.) carded an 83 and senior Jason Meyer (Dunlap, Ill.) shot an 85, while senior Elijah Glasenapp (Milwaukee, Wis.) had an 86. Freshman Jake Lipski (New Berlin, Wis.) rounded out the first team's lineup with an 88.
- Sophomore Nathan Hasenstein (Sheboygan, Wis.) shot an 84, as did freshman Jacob Tenlen (Montreal, Wis.). Junior Josh Denk (Markesan, Wis.) signed for a 92 and junior Brandon Socher (Muskego, Wis.) concluded the Falcons second unit with a 93.
- Carthage won the tournament with a team score of 297 and Alex Stewart fired a 2-under-par 70 to win medalist honors.

- The Falcons compete in the Lake Forest Invitational on Sunday at Aldeen Golf Club in Rockford, Ill.
