Falcons compete at Cress Creek Invite

"It was a marathon at Cress Creek CC Sunday and Monday," said Falcon links coach Ray Engelking.

"We started hitting golf balls at around 7:00 AM, and finished at around 6:00pm, playing without 3 of our top golfers.

"Ben Hagenbach and Michael Phung had a chance to gain more experience and did well holding their scores for each "9" in the forties," added the Falcon mentor.

CUW's highlight of the day was once again Eric Hertel. Eric had a "very solid" first round, and then came in with a "sizzling" 74 in round two.

"I'm hoping we will be at full strength for our last two Conference meets," confided Engelking.
