Meet the Falcons: Kristen Eiles
MEQUON, Wis. – Over the next few weeks, CUW Athletics will be publishing a "Meet the Falcons" series to better know the support staff around the CUW Athletic Department.
Today we continue the series with one of our athletic trainers, Kristen Eiles.
Job Title: Athletic Trainer
How long have you worked at CUW: Three years
Hometown: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Where did you go to college: Iowa State University
Your favorite thing about CUW: The community that comes with it
Why did you choose CUW: I came here for graduate school in 2017 and loved it, so when I had the opportunity to stay on the athletic training staff as a full-time athletic trainer I could not turn it down
Favorite Food: Tacos or pizza
Favorite thing to do outside of work: Golf
Favorite Movie: Remember the Titans or How to Lose a Guy In 10 Days
Favorite Professional Team or Athlete: Green Bay Packers
Ideal Vacation Spot: Anywhere warm
If you could have a super power what would it be and why: Tough one…Either x-ray vision which would make my job so much easier dealing with injuries or I'd take Super speed so I could be everywhere I needed to be quickly and not waste any time
Favorite memory in athletics: I've got two: As an athletic training student at Iowa State, the women's basketball team made it to the NCAA tournament and we traveled to UCONN to play Syracuse. It was so cool to be a part of that. Last year when the men's volleyball team beat MSOE who was a top-15 ranked team in the country at that point, that was an awesome win to be a part of.
